We got in the blind at 4:50 2day.Heard our first gobble at 6:20.They where along way off 5 different ones.Fought with hens for about 45 minutes had 2 come in.We stayed there till 8:30 nothing. We left there an headed down to washington county about 30 minute drive. The first well i stopped at yelp 4 times instant gobble. We hurried up run up this big hill an setup.I worked 2 at that spot for an hour got them to come a couple hundered yards but couldn't see them they hung up.We tried a couple more spots down there nothing. We headed back home an setup on a full struter around 11 yelp a couple of times here came 2 up over the hill. They where 2 big hens **** they about run us over.We tried 2 more spots after that an never got no response at either spot. Then we headed for the trout pond no luck there.W sat there for 3 hours an never got a bite.

set up on the 2 we roosted. they gobbled at day break, and a few min. later 2 hens come over the hill and stop about 60 yards. knowing the toms where coming we got ready. here they come ,got to bout 50 yards strutten and gobblin their heads off but wouldnt budge from about 50. looked up ,the hens where gone. 15 min.later the toms looked over the hill and away they went. we went to a few other spots and got them gobblin but they where all hen d up. no takers today, but we had some good action.

Hunting or soccer? I'd have to think about that one...for about two seconds. But, things are different today.
