Crazy Winds are Howling........I decided to not take my little ones out for their first opening day of trout season.......severe weather warning in effect.........CRAZY WINDS are kicking it outside.......I hope they don't get too upset........will surely try to take them tomorrow if the weather allows........... 45-60 MPH winds.......the winds might just pick up my tiny kiddies and take them to OZ..... I hope we don't lose power in the Oley Valley !!!! I will take them to see the Easter Bunny at wallyworld........

Fished Manatawny Creek from 5-730pm..........caught 6 fish--12-15 inches, all rainbows fished with my bass rod: Kistler 6'6" 6-14 lb medium action--10lb test fished Berkely Pink Worms The wind was insane.........talked to a few folks, all of which said the day sucked....and most didn't catch a fish.....and a few caught one.......... should prove better tomorrow Covered Bridge on Covered Bridge road has a fortress of posted signs around it......even wires over the creek....good job by the PFBC to get on top of this...........glad to see my license dollars and trout stamp dollars at work.......you stocked a section of creek where the only people fishing it were the landowners.........that pretty much sucks.......license increase........how about doing your job right in the first place....seems like a good way to waste dollars.........and most of the creek below this section has no parking.........and the area below this has poles stuck into the ground so nobody can park along the creek..........great job PFBC....way to keep our waters open....a visit to landowners to see how things are going goes a very long way...........

Fished a small stream in Schuylkill that was up but discolored. The best stream conditions in years for opening day. Many caught and released by our party of 4. Only bummer was seeing that holdover rainbow being caught by a meato and going on a rope. Nice first weekend of early trout!

How was the fishing at Clark's? I was never there, and was thinking about going down on Friday.

Don't go there Friday. You'll have to get up early if you want to beat me to the spot!
