STUPID QUESTION

I been saving for the last year for either a new bow or turkey gun mainly the SBE II.How much better could it pattern then my mossberg 835 with a comp n choke?Is this gun worth this kind of money?I'm only going to hunt turkeys with it.

    It is not the gun that makes the pattern
    It is the combination of choke and shell
    Try different shells in the choke you have
    If you don't find a good pattern try a different choke then use different shells

    My 835 patterns very well.I wanted to know is the SBE 11 worth that kind of money just for turkey hunting.

    IMO - no.
     
    If you were a waterfowler too - then I'd say go for it.  It's a sweet semi - but realisitcally, you usually only shoot once at a turkey and if you miss, there are little opportunities for a follow up before he's outta there.
     
    Spending $1,400 for a semi to only shoot once or twice a season wouldn't be something I'd do but for sure it would last you a lifetime with proper care.

    I say not worth it. I killed alot of turkeys with my 835 and as long as it shoots I feel no need for a different gun.

    I was under a NWTF web page an leupold got a small ad off to the side.Is that a rangefinder or do they make a scope like that?
