Raystown Stripers

Planning a trip to Raystown for Stripers on April 4th. Already hired a guide since this will be my first time on the lake. Was just wondering if anyone could give me any information on what i could expect this time of year.

Last stripper I caught on Raystown was on April 4 of last year.  Who did you hire?

Not sure if you are staying the weekend or not, but if you do bring some spinning tackle and go above Weaver Falls toward the power plant in Saxton. Dont worry you will see the vehicles lined up right before dark along the road. Throw big topwater plugs. Rapalas, Bombers, Redfins, Bucktail jigs, ect. You might just hook up on one there. Ill be starting over there around that time for them. Good Luck!!     Deep

We went up on April 4th. Only fished for 4 hours the wind was terrible. Fred and Matt were nice enough to offer us another trip at no charge due to the weather conditions. The Davolis are class acts. Been on many other trips before which was bad due to weather conditions and was never given that offer before. That showed some real class in my book. Probably goin to head back up later this month. I'll keep you guys posted.
