Where is the compromise again?
They didn't get their way so calls were made to their representative and complained to get my magnified scope. So much for the "independent" PGC. This crossbow issue really broke the camels back, they clearly have no power to do anything anymore.
So, if you guys who say there are no more deer anywhere, call your representative and complain a bunch of times, they will bypass the PGC and do whatever public comment dictates. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those calls came in from out of state BTW.
Able-bodied=lazy(I mean legal,oops)
handicapped/disabled=proper weapon to keep them archery hunting

The "public" comment I wrote was intented to be a joke Goby. It was all legislation .. a common occurance in recent years. Oh well, Fast Eddy will be filling our gamelands with casinos someday.

The reporting minutes is on the PGC website..
I certainly enjoyed Roxane's comments about some people saying they wouldn't support the PGC if the crossbow passed. She said it's not about us, it's about wildlife management .. so you would not be supporting wildlife management.
Caving to legislation is supporting wildlife management ?? What a joke.

Anybody who hunts with a rifle should not complain about people using crossbows. How about not allowing rifles anymore?

The main complaint seems to about wiping out the deer. Will more be killed by crossbow than with rifles? NO! I also archery hunt & don't mind sharing the woods with crossbow hunters. It appears to me that the anti-crossbow people are just unwilling to share the primo(in rut) season with anyone else. That's how this idiot thinks. Everyone talks about how to get more hunters interested in the sport & then rebels when something is done that would help this. Keep on complaining & calling people idiots, I'll be out hunting or fishing, enjoying myself instead.

I don't think anyone is concerned about the kill rate to be as high as rifle. I do think alot of people are concerned about the wounded rate , mostly because some or most of the people with the crossgun this will be their first year to hunt and might not know the gun very well as far as distance and such. I know I am not looking foward to sitting in my treestand and seeing a drive go on right beside me and you know there will be more people with crossguns walking around.

I don't talk about getting people interested, I've done something about, and many times. Allowing shortcuts in a challenging sport is a way to get others uninterested. Now I'm off to fish fishermans paradise with bait cause I don't want to learn to flyfish.
