Man,
Is it OK if I am totally envious?  I'm sitting here in KY with a 4 hour drive to get close to trout and you can just get up and go.  It's 12 hours to central PA.  Enjoy, guys; enjoy!

Fishing Sunday Dave. Sat. is Birthday time for me & my mom. The original plan was to fish Sat., but I don't wanna miss my own party & the Black Forrest cake that comes with it!

Ind.- We'll take pics...

Also- I never head toward water without Cress Bugs. Reminds me- I forgot about sending some out again.

I need to make up a few Olives & I'll be set. Made up some Blue duns this evening. Can't wait.

Tuesday I'm going to fish the Tully in Lebanon/Reading with a friend. First time there for me.

Oh yeah- Monday is my Birthday. Getting way close to 40. I'll be 39. I'll be on my home waters that day looking up a bruiser I saw a few days ago. Am hoping for a birthday miracle as I figure he goes about 8#.

Nice to have warm enough weather to get out.

Yea, that was fun.

One or two were caught downstream, I think kjh got one.   I had some rises to a little gray midge, but couldn't seal the deal.

First things first....

Here come da soul train...

I stayed near the car trying to glue another rod back together, then I stared into the water for a spell.

Eventually I found my spare rod & caught a gray midge to put on my hook. Size 18 as it were. 20's don't work.
I guess the Horse collar nymph doesn't count. They were 20's.

Heero caught some. So glad he decided to hang with us.

I got some.

Pinners showed up.

I found a slice of home in that valley.

It may have had fish. Maybe not.

Comrade Ramcatt

Sig Heil brother Smelly Uppity Mtn. Hippie.

Spring pond where we got our froggies for bait. Not a pic. I painted it.

Today I hurt & I didn't even go 50 yards from the parking lot. Good times & rising Truttas. Looks like a do over in a month and a half......

I didn't. I barely saw any Suckers, but there were a few trouts around. I lost a nice one of around 16-17" at my hand. He took my fly with him. I need a few more of those spinners a friend gave me. Hint.....

The one mallard picked out 4 different holding spots and splashed down in each, over a span of 30 seconds upon my arrival.  WTF?

Next time it'll be:        for the mallards!

Midges have been GREAT!!!!!!

I have not been seeing many BWO's, the midges have been dominating. They have been a dark gray for those interested.  A size 24 has been getting the job done nicely.  I am still awaiting a solid hatch of the real stuff, I am tired of tossing these tiny things......
