    They are always doing some but it doesn't mean anything yet. I've seen some strutting the last month or so. Your about 3-4 weeks early for it to mean anything in the top half of the state.

    There was a flock in the yard the other day.  The jakes were chasing one another and the hens were picking at the ground and not really paying attention, but the boss was all puffed out and proud of himself.  His head was blue and red and he was strutting all around, trying to get the ladies to pay attention.  Sadly for him (as is often the case for me as well), the ladies ignored him.

    That tree they were around is actually about halfway between my house and the woods.  Lately, they've been coming closer.

    Saw 7 long beards struting 2day.It's was at the spot my daughter killed her bird last year.They had a pile of hens with them also maybe some jakes to.Mainly keep the binos on the big boys.
