Shenango Ice

Is anyone doing any good on Shenango over ice?  Thinking of going tomorrow or maybe Lake Aurthur.  Thanks!

If I would have asked what everyone wanted, they would have responded that they wanted a better horse....Henry Ford

Tex,Id say Shenango shoreline may be gone, because it's a flood controll lake, ( and they close the gates at the dam) but the ice should be fine.( a big step or two)My buddy fishes it ever weekend and has been getting big crappie at the celery farm. As for jigging Aurther good luck a ton of non keeper gills and a few (far and few) giant crappie 12 to 14 inches in MC,there some sunken brush.Thats about all I can give you. Ive got on Shenago on late ice with three feet of shoreline gone and fish all day,to come off finding 10 feet or more open, locals came with ext.latters and wooden planks to get off,one note it did rain about 2 inches that day.
