Carp throughthe ice.

I was fishing the head of the bay Saturday and the fella next to me was banging carp. He had one on the ice and lost about eight other ones. I watched him fight a few of  them and in no way would they fit through the hole. He has been icing for 40 years and me for 15 and we never saw a carp through the ice. Until that day. I wondered where they go in the winter and maybe they school in the head?

I was at the head just off the reed bed where the one duck blind is last year with a buddy.  Saw probably 60 of them on the aqua vu in an hour.

The Lord has blessed us all today... It's just that he has been particularly good to me.
