BAC on top of the hill has the fish mounted in the shop if anyone wants to see it. I was fishing that night with dave, and that mount does it no justice. The unbelievable part of the story is that he caught it on 1/2 pound line and it took about 20 minutes to bring it in.

That crappie mounted in there was the one Dave Lefebre caught during the bass tournament on PI.  Does someone know for sure that Lefebre was the one who caught the one through edinboro because I know thats not the crappie from edinboro.

Now do you know if it is in BAC.  Im 99% sure the one mounted in BAC is the one he caught during the bass tournament.  If you look at there picture board, there is a picture of him holding it with a bag of bass below him and hes wearing his bass fishing clothes.

    I found this:

    http://www.oldtowncrier.com/gofish/364-erie-extraordinaire

Erie International (Not that busy!) flights land so close to the dock, planes tie up to cleats. First stop, a real tackle shop! Live bait, hot lures, and appropriate licensing at one stop, B.A.C. Bait and Tackle. Stocked with tackle and tales, local legends’ prized catches cover the retail tacklebox’s walls. The owner has a special fondness for hometown hero, Dave Lefebre. Photos of the FLW pro are prominent in the store where he had very modest beginnings, renting a trailer from the owner before his tournament career took off. Supplying encouragement and a job, B.A.C. Bait and Tackle was there when Lefebre needed a pep talk. The successful pro stops by to say “hi” and to visit his mounted record ice-fishing crappie, nearly 3.5 pounds! Lefebre walks in humbly, the same way he left years ago.

Your facts are wrong. If you dont know the story i will tell it. After dave caught the fish he took it home and put it in the freezer. Then he went out of town to a bass tournament, when he returned home he found that his freezer broke and everything was thawed, including the crappie, so he walked to BAC and asked them if they wanted it. Dave was very poor off financially and could not afford to have the fish mounted.
