Canada Ice fishing/Simcoe

Looking to do some real ice fishing in Ontario-Lake Simcoe. My dad and I went up with a bus tour about 3 years ago and had a blast. Havent seen that option in a few years but would like to get back up there to do some fishing. We fished Lake Simcoe and I have been looking at packages 1-2 night stay with bait/hut rental/ and transportation. Anyone come back from a trip recently or know of any good outfitters up there?
Any info appreciated!

    http://www.comfortinnbarrie.com/barrie_ice_fishing_package.htm
found this link which is $83 canadian per person, but excludes a license.
$100 a dude is pretty good I think?

Maybe if we get enough interest on this site we could put together an 8passenger van, caravan of people or rent one of those blue-birds. I could probably put together 8 guys myself that would be interested in at least 1 night

Check out www.icecabins.com, pretty good hut operator and there are a couple of links there for places to stay.

I Just got a reply from that barrie site, they said that they don't offer that package anymore, gave me a site that they think still does. Friends of mine did that trip a few years ago & were very pleased. I asked about needing a **** for those of us from the U>S>A> she replied that you need a **** if you fly across the border, you don't need one if you drive across, but starting in June 2009 you will need one if you drive across also. Didn't think to ask if you need one if you go by boat.   sam
