Pymatuning

I was wondering if anyone has checked the ice at Pymy? I am chomping at the bit to get out on the lake.

    I was told there is 5" at pymy.  But dont take that to the bank.  I saw the lake last sunday and it was froze over as far as I could see.  Again that was what sombody told me and my buddy.   Have you or anybody heard of the ice thickness on conneaut lake?

    No redneck I'm from the Dubois area so I don't Know about conneaut lake, sorry.

    its a deep lake someone posted on iceshanty that not far out had about 4 inchess i think with still opened water in the main, pretty sure i read that.

    I heard that Pymy has some decent walleye fishing through the ice. Where is the best place to walk out from? Most important, how is the ice

    I like to go off of Snodgrass boat launch when fishing Pymy. I go out till I find at least 15 foot of water, hope to be out there Sat.

    down by the jamestown marina and up north at tuttle or off bennet bay.  gotta watch though, it takes awhile for that lake to get safe.  be careful
