The peninsula is completely covered with the exception of a few soft looking spots.  I haven't seen anyone out on it yet.  I would say it's not fishable.

Just took a ride around the peninsula up to the third parking lot looks hard nobody on it, around the stink hole looks a little shaky, the marina and horshoe look hard nobody there and Misery still looks a little soft around crappie corner, but the whole Bay is covered....

I only get to fish it in the winter for panfish, if i go in the warmer months its to catch the largemouth for fun, catch and release. And its a short drive compared to wilhelm or conneaut or PI Bay, and not nearly as crowded as Aurthor. But good luck in the coming months

on the river youd have to go around the 322 bridge ike by dairy queen..its real good....but on tionesta..tons of crappies..but no size...few years ago they were big but who knos....tionesta gets bad b/c its a corps lake which regulates water..means the sides get bad from them raising the water levels...by the brest is good fishing but long walk with a sled...but once the launch freezes up its good..

Yea i fish the clarion in the spring for Crappies and thats a blast and i know where your talking about, And ive never got a chance to get on tionesta i knew they were corps like kinzua is. But i think ill give it a shot when the weather gets better! and the blue gill at kahle are huge bigger than your hand and the crappy are big there too. we have alot of 50 plus fish days there. If ya get a chance to put in some more time there its worth it.

Stopped by kahle today on my way home from camp, there was a guy comming off with his auger , he said 5"on the clarion side and 3" on the venango side but it looked real ugly. We both decided to give it some more time. Mr. Fly, we may know some of the same people, I go to St. Marys once in a while, the gun bash at Farmington, and share a lease with some local guys.
