I personally know Ray Bell and was surprised when I linked to the other page to see him with a Tomahawk and a dead deer!  Ray is a good guy and a good hunter/sportsman.  From what I understand somebody else other than Ray posted this as a joke.  I will see Ray in the next couple weeks and will get the full story, but this is a good example of how people should not believe what they read/see on the internet!

Dr Trout, you were awfully quick to run to the PGC on this one!

 
Now im confused, This guy posed in a picture with a dead deer with a tomahawk in its side, I hope someone can get the whole story, because it sure looks like to me he is trying to convince people he killed this deer with an axe.  Humm, I cant tell you how many times someone made me pose with a dead deer and a tomahawk against my will.  Why the hell would you  have a tomahawk out in a corn field if it wasnt for a preplanned hoax?

I never E-mailed the PGC.....  and to accuse me of that is just WRONG...
they E-mailed me .....

this tomahawk thing was everywhwere on the internet... I did not allow it on my site because I KNEW it was illegal to use a tomahawk.... period... I could care less what the moderators allow here .. truth or lies... IT ain't my board...

But to imply I went to the PGC is an out and out lie 



The E-mail I referred to was SENT TO ME... because of another internet site...
The PGC was aware of this thing LONG BEFORE I found it here on this board... and I stopped it from getting on mine when someone here tried to post it over there... even the link here is to another site and other sites are mentioned too...

You guys are just trying to make this board into a silly place with just a few guys with multiple usernames running the show...........

I know those accusing me of running to the PGC on this one would never apoligize for their insults.. so all I can say is

GO TO HELL  !!

And to answer a question from some other thread...

I probably get and or send about 10 E-mails a day containing many things even jokes ETC from/to about 7 people at PGC Headquaters... several are actually personal friends and we would be friends and exchange E-mails even if they worked some where else...

I also directly recieved all press releases and  talk on the phone several times a month with PGC folks....

thay have been more that gracious at providibng me with literature etc to share with the members and guests at our sportman's club... I have been invited on bear tagging trips, elk viewing trips, waterfowl trips etc etc. not just with PGC folks but commissioners... legilsators.. WCOS.. ETC ETC..

I'm really -- A NICE GUY  as anyone that knows me would tell you if asked !!!!!!
 
and if you happen to be at the JANUARY PGC meeting ask someone where is Dr. Trout and they will point you to me

Because I am friends with several of them...  it's a shame if you do not have friends that would tell you something in confidence or give you some "inside" info and tell you somehting they wanted "put out there"

The E-mail mentioned that no one from the PGC that belongs or visits my board had seen it there and it was on almost every other board around... and wondered if I knew anything about it.... notice I never replied to the post here until I got the E-MAIL. I knew it was a lie when I read it... atlaals and tomahawks are NO NOS........

The other reason was they wanted people to know that lies were in that post.... 

There is not special permit and killing a deer with a tomahawk is illegal...
they were afraid someone would read that post here or somewhere else and believe it to be true... since no one had posted it was illegal and it seemed many on boards were believing it...



Since you read my board you know of two "cases" about deer season violations..... did you get or see them in a press release ?????

but you will see them. or hear of them.

I was allowed to mention those cases... but I know of others that I am not allowed to mention....

Gheezzz... to bad some of you never had friends that could or would confide in you... but of course from reading this board I can see why I wouldn't tell allot of you anything !!!

After all these years I also find it offensive that you (s-10) while posting on my board state you enjoy some of the "inside" PGC stuff I put there... then come over here and     "wonder not accuse" ..

Just don't understand that one ????

BTW.. go back and read my post... I said I deleted the tomahawk thing when it appeared... OR IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE..look at my board -- I and other moderators can delete anything we want.... I/we just do it more than some boards..........

Hi, this is the real Ray Bell. I didn't even know this was going on.  I do not have the internet at home and I've been off for the last two weeks.  First of all, it is me in the pictures but I did none of the postings.  Someone took the liberty of being me.  I took these pictures on the last day of hunting season when I shot this doe with my 06.  This deer dropped about 80 yds. from my vehicle in which my newly received tomahawk lay.  The reason for the picture: I have an acquaintance that I cannot beat with a story and from what I've heard recently, we all have one.  If I saw a ten point with a twenty inch spread, he saw a 12 point with a 22 inch spread.  If I saw a flock of 40 turkeys he saw one with 50...and so on and so on.   I just wanted to make something unbeatable and what I thought was so unbelievable that no one would.  I was wrong.   I sent the pictures to 3 people and they were not supposed to go all over the internet.  The game commission has not contacted me...YET. 

Thanks for the clarification ray, the attacehd pic in your post make me 99.9% sure it is you. 
 
Be more carefull in the future I guess what kind of pictures you get take of your self.  i know I would like to have a few from the past erased as well but never one with a deer.

Doc....Please do not call me an idiot.  You do not know me, I have been a member on this board longer than you and have read the majority of the posts regarding hunting on here.  I do not post often(because I do not like arguing a losing battle with people who are set in their ways), but do find it comical to read through people's different opinions.  Remember the Little General?  I wish he was on here so you two could go at it again!
 
If you read your reply that you posted and understand no one on this board knows where it came from, anyone would or could think that you did email the PGC on this.  It seems you go a little over board with the whole PGC thing.  You can understand why I would have thought you emailed them on the subject.
 
BTW - The Real Ray that posted here is legitimate, I can confirm that much.
