watershed brown trout

How would everyone rate this past season? Pepacton I would say was hot till the storm (again) The elusive 10 lber stayed away, was close with a 9lb 15 oz and a 9lb 12oz. Several others over 6 lbs to the boat, but the storm in late July was the end in my opinion. Didn't spend enough time on Roundout this year, a few trips nothing to speak about. It's going to be a long winter, anyone else out there?

    Those are some nice size trout WTG !
    What tactics ?
     
    My 1st season with a boat on the Ashokan and i never did target Trout at all. Wanted to but spent most my time there playing with all the crazy smallmouth.
     
    Any idea how big they get in the Ashokan ???

    Hey, live bait,years of experience.No opinion on Ashokan, I think this is he forum for us to share knowledge and experience and opportunites to grow. Let's spend the down months as a chance to grow, Phishan.

    brian, i spooned about a 4 lb roe with eggs on sat. at the weir.. esopus was still no show even with eggs only 3 small bows. weir is where it's at  but it still is hit or miss..sunday blew
