location of steelhead

How far up the streams have the steelhead managed to reach so far?

    There has been enough water for them to go as far as they want. How many? Who knows, but there are surely SOME.
     
    Why not try upstream of the last fisherman you see? You might strike out, OR you MIGHT have a bonanza all to yourself.

    dont know how far up they are what i can tell you the hens i got in the river were not ready to spawn out and a couple were bos color and hooked only one that looked like a chinn he broke off after a few great jumps

    The best concentrations of fish is at the lower sections of  tribs. The bigger fish usually don't move far up stream especially with the low flows that the tribs have been experiencing. I bet a few more have come in with the weather.
