Any Advice??

Is there anything you wish somebody had told you before your first trip to the Oak??? Lemme know.
Heading up Wed, Oct. 29.

    Skunk Hope you had a good trip. Didn't see your request until I got back from the Oak. Anyway; here's my my two cents for the Oak. When in doubt, add more weight.Only attempt to land a King who looks like a swimming Christmas tree. You gain a varied assortment of new and old flies and hooks that way. When obviously foul hooked; snap it off quickly. Watched a guy play a tail hooked King for a long time, and it does irk the other people who are trying to fish the same area.

    good to meet you anadromous... they were cooperting with me fairly well...kings were atleast...few browns mixed in...peach and blood red was the color

    oh...and th enortherns were out of this world saturday afternoon...ruined 3 of my swimming joes in an hour and a half *thumbsup*

    hen house hit it on the nose...
