Perchin

When do perch normally begin to be in the bay? I have seen a few small onees caught recently but no decent sized ones. Has anyone been having any luck catching perch in the bay yet?

Mike, last couple of years I have had very good luck with perch in the bay(city side) from shore, starting the second week of November. Best baits were maggot tipped jigs and minnies. Careful with the jiggs the Steelys love them too!!  Make sure you hang on to your rod. The perch run smaller but there are many to be caught, I caught 50 on Thanksgiving morning last year and I really got wet(poured all day). Had to stop fishing because my boots were filling up with water.  Good Luck
