How is your sense of humor?

Is there a Maple or Oak LEAF fly pattern?
Seems to me... (I know I am MAD) but, there might be an advantage this time of year to try a leaf pattern?  I've searched FishUSA, Orvis, even Cabelas but cound not find any Leaf wet, dry, nymph patterns.  Any help... mental, professional, experienced guide, etc. would be appreciated.
How do you keep those leaves from you having fun?
See you tomorow on ELk!

I know you're goofin, but it was several years ago i was fishing a wind storm about this time of year.
The creek was so full of leaves on top and suspended, it was near impossible to get more than a 1ft drift without hooking a suspended leaf
(that was 'if' you could hit a piece of water to get below the surface)

anyway, anything pink that drifted more than a ft got a bite.
Didn't matter what it was, as long as it was pink, they hammered it

Change your position(if possible) to a direct upstream approach and drift with the leaves(parrallel) instead of against them.(perpendicular) Lose the indicator, keep the rod tip low to reduce the line angle. Its a game of feel, slack line managment is crucial...This won't be 100% but it will increase your presentation time per drift...

well put...you cant buy better advice
