If you could have your dream trip ?

If money or time was not an object, where and what species of fish would you want to target as your once in a lifetime dream trip ?
You could stay until you caught them !

My top three trips.

1. Mongolia, Hucho Taimen
2. South America, Peacock Bass, redtail catfish
3.Alaska: All of the Pacific Salmon/barndoor halibut

I'd start in Pa and make one big trip around the world exploring all waters and all species from boat and from land. If I managed to still be alive after that I'd sit back and relax in the summer up in Alaska somewhere looking at the scenery from my deck and on some beach somewhere in the winter watching the sunset! Not too much to dream about is it?

A few of you guys mentioned Taimen , where is that and what do you catch there?  Right now if I were to pick a location it would be Alaska.

Have to say the big halibut is interesting as well as tarpon.

Found a really secluded stream feeding a lake in Canada once and caught lots of native browns, small fish but they were mature and fun to catch. Not a soul around for 100 miles, just me the fish and beer. Wouldn't mind doing that again. Of course this summer's shallow walleye trips would be a great do-over as well.

One of my dream trips would be able to have enough time to fish the famous central Pennsylvania creeks (two weeks would be perfect); Penn Creek, Spring Creek and the Little Juniata for a month from mid May to mid June.  It would be nice to stay at local B+B's and sample the local food and beer.  (Troegs, Victory, Stouts, Lancaster Breweries)

changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes....nothing remains quite the same
