I think you will be happy with what you find.

And for all of you that wait for the "perfect" conditions, you can't catch anything waiting for the silver spoon report

Me and the Smithton Bandits will be up to NY on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th.  Can't wait to tangle with some Browns or Kings.  I don't descriminate I will catch what ever bites the hook. lol  But those brown trout are nice.

    Anadromous,

Sounds good, we'll be starting somewhere upstream from there.  Give me a shout if you see me!  There will be five of us in a group together, all in our 20s.  I'll have a green cabelas wading jacket on with a brown hat, khaki breathables. (Just described just about everyone, haha)

Getting ready to leave the house here in a few minutes.

I have fished Oak Orchard for the last two days. All is well with Kings, Maybe slighly thinner then they were last year at this time. Some browns are being caught. I caught an nice one yeserday.Crowds have not been that thick. The guy that fillets your fish at the top of the hill now has competition across the street.

At Burt, keep your eye out for the guide teaching his clients how to lift, and keeping foul hooked fish.  Fri., I witnessed a fisherman giving him hell for it, and his response{ the guide } was " shut up you f#$%ing **** "!. Guide tried to tell everyone that the BROWNS are just going to die anyway "!! Bunch of kids there heard the guides tirade.  The other fisherman made me laugh when he told the clients that he couldn't believe they were paying good money to someone giving all guides a bad name. He said he caught this guides act down at the Harrisburg Sport show a couple of years ago. But, that's Burt.

I was up there for the first time over the weekend, and I probably saw the same event.  The argument seemed to start over whether a fish that a guy caught was hooked legally or not. I saw the fish when it was landed/netted, and it was hooked in the mouth  (Several of us standing there saw the fish in the net.)  Not sure what the argument was really about, seemed like the guide and the guy he was arguing with had some "history".  Sort of a shame that some folks decided to act that way in front of a bunch of people.

I also watched the WCO come through the crowd and walk 6 guys out at one time.  Some people actually clapped when they all walked by on their way to the parking lot.

Saw a bunch of fish, and a bunch of fish get caught.  Seemed like a crowd, but I had never fished there before, so maybe it was just a normal day??

Was told by the lady at the gate those 5 or 6 guys were from Virginia and were cited for snaggin and caused a ruckus at the magistrates office. Don't know if it's true (hearsay). Had a good time at Burt till I took a header when I missed a step. Followed it up with a bow from the waist (embarassed - not me - it happens all the time) I'm sure it made someones day. All in a day of fishing. Met some nice folks from W.V. and caught some nice fish.............Dave

Never got to hit it that wednesday, ended up having to work, ugh. Heading up tomorow just for the day to scout around, and heading back Sunday to stay for a few days.  Will let you know when I get back tomorrow what was going on...Hopefully there are a mixed bag to play with and the water conditions are decent.
