1st of the year

Went for a walk last thursday, saw the 1st rub, scrape(actually saw four already) and nice buck, 10pt that was 18-19 wide, can't wait till season starts.

    Last Friday I found a fresh scrape also. Hope it is a good sign. Acorns are falling all over my woods, hope thats good too!!

    Had a buddy stop by the garage monday told me he found a rub line and two fresh scrapes.Had pictures on the cell phone to prove it was  true.Will look sunday got to move one of my lock-ons they started to put a well right beside.I been watching 3 nice 8 pointers come out there every night to.

    Very few acorns around my spot.  I was out this morning, but I didn't find anything too encouraging.

    Friggin apples, EVERYWHERE! here.  I also saw a pear tree in peril of losing most of its limbs due to the weight of the crop.....woo hoooo!

    Have scouted out many different areas and have only found a few spots with some accorns.  But the apples as said are everywhere.  Good luck this year, it doesn't look like I will get out much this year.
