olive hares mask

Does anyone know where I can get a dyed olive hares mask for haresear nymph?

    if fishusa doesnt have it...

They do not do online ordering, but I buy all my tying suplies from fishusa or FFP. All you need to do is get their phone number and call them with whatever you want. When it comes to tying suplies, there isnt much they dont have.

I prefer fishusa because the prices are better on certain things, like hooks, you cant get dai riki from ffp. Plus... shipping, wow, I have never seen better shipping from any company in my life. There are certain things I wont buy online though, hackle is a big one. Matched quills, I rooted through 100 packs yesterday before I found two I wanted.

    I agree with jlh.
If fishusa doesn't have it, try ffp.
you can order their yearly catalog.

Checked fishUSA web site and couldn't find any, should have checked FFP's catalog they have any color you need. Thanks for the reply.

As a suggestion to tie a few hare's ears.  Just get a bag of olive dubbing and some zonker strips.  The strips work well for tailing the fly, plus you can also use them for tying zonkers.

The hair closest to the hide on the zonker strips can also be cut up. I have found that this works well for dubbing.

I use Olive hackle fibers from the olive strung hackles I use for wooly buggers as a tail.

If your still looking for Hare's masks i've been buying them online from ebay.  They are grade #1's and well priced.

Fishusa now stocks Hare's Masks in eight colors. These are nice masks, although they are slightly small, but the price is great at $2.95 each.
