Car claims trophy whitetail

On the way to work today found the deer I have been looking at for weeks and hoping to target during archery dead on the road.  They put him well off the road so i was able to quickly stop and assess the situation.  A 10pt still in velvet probaly weighing 130-140lbs Brow Tines were about 4in off the main beam and the buck had about a 22" spread...a true trophy.

Sucks, I see it here in Law co. every year too.  Usually not this early though.

HAHAHAHA You are right there are alot of nice deer in my area, the problem is gaining the access to hunt them and I cant touch a gun around my house for deer.  This guy here presented himself to me a few times with the spot light.  I estimated him to be about 5 years old.  By the time I would have had a shot at him he may have put on another 5lbs before the peak rut.  He would have been a nice mount if i would have been able to get him before someone else.
