Massachussets Stripers
I just got back from Massachussets a day or 2 ago. I went there with a good friend to catch some stripers on a fly. I gotta say, this was the most fun i've ever had on a fishing trip. We were stripping clousers and gurglers over schools of stripers. The action was nonstop from about 6am til 10:30am each morning. Here are a few pics of the fish we caught:

1 more month or 2 and you can do that at Raystown, Blue Marsh , Redman, ect. ect. and never have to leave the State of Pa.

Salmo, We fished mainly in the bays, in about 6-10 feet of water. I'd like to try the flats some time soon.

Nice pics Dan. Where exactly were you fishing? I have relatives that live in Rockport which is just slighty up the coast from Gloucester. I had an opportunity to go up there about 2 weeks ago to visit family and I declined, after reading your results that may have been a mistake!

They are a heck of a lot of fun aren't they. Was up on Long Island at the end of July and we caught numerous Stripers along with a lot of blues. Heading back in 3 weeks to catch the start of the fall run. AND probably one more time after that just because it is so fun. Some of the schools are awesome in size and numbers. Bug
I believe Hard work really makes the man, but everyone should wet a line, every now and then. E.C.

Nice pictures Drake. Looks like you had yourself a good time. I bet that a rocket on a fly rod could be a real challenge! Brent

It seemed like there were fish all over.
