doe check

County treasure hasn't cashed my check, or else the transaction hasn't went through yet.    5,000 left.

Anyone, checks cashed?

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

They cashed my check a few days ago.  I believe that if they cash your check, you got the tag.

Cashed my check for 1B yesterday. Put in for 3B today. I believe you are correct DanesDad, but it could take months to actually recieve your tags. When we had the "old" system I would get my tags in about 2 or 3 weeks!  Anyone else notice the acorns are already falling? I took a walk yesterday in the woods and found quite a few on the ground and they were large. I had a guy tell me that its just the squirrels knocking them down. I don't believe it.

I don't think you will.It states right on the envelope that's a reason to reject your application.

    parker31,
They use to throw all the apps. with missing postage, checks, etc. into a dead letter file. I do believe you can call the PGC and see if they still do this.

If they run out of tags for the WMU you applied for they send your app. back within a day or 2 of receiving it. As far as the check being cashed, that is up to the county treasurer. Some counties don't even process the apps. until they receive the majority of them from the PGC.

Your right F C   they still throw any apps in a dead letter  bin.  I forgot to circle how many apps were in the envelope but they just sent back to me.   I f you sent for a doe tag and have not got it sent back to by now YOU WILL GET THE TAG !   Now hoping to get the rest that i sent for.  Good luck  getting doe tags you sent for

The county treasurer called my brother and told him he forgot postage, he sent a stamp in and still got his tag.

If they cash the check, you get the license.....

Carpet, Don't worry. If your check was cashed you got a license.

The way it works is this.

You send the application into the PGC.

They may check the application. (Not sure there).

They keep the totals for the WMU's. They are the ones who close the po box and list the totals on the website.
That's why they WMU's close quickly (in some cases) and checks aren't cashed yet.

They then send the applications, and checks, out to the respective county treasurers.

The county treasurers then check the application, and cash the check.

Here's the key to this whole thing of having your checked cashed really early.

The treasurer doesn't have to send your license to you until sometime in september. I can't remember the exact date. It is different for the SRA WMU's because they have the earlier start date for archery, I think.......

Some treasurers get the licenses out really early. Others wait until the last possible moment before sending them out.

I've had licenses come before the second round were due, and have other times when I didn't get them until the day before archery started.

This year my check was cashed the monday after the first day of them accepting them.

I generally don't expect to see it come in the mail until sometime mid/late-september.

well not to me either but,,was this your first year? I'd say most guys double and triple check them before they seal and send it.
