perch at P.I.

From all of the good reports I have been getting on the size of perch being caught at P.I. it looks like it may be another banner year through the ice. I can't wait! I know it is rushing it a bit,but on days like this I am looking for relief anyway that I can get it.  Any photos from the past . please  lol   sam

i caught these little mama's in about 10 seconds. the first one hit a shiner, the second one hit the bare jig five seconds later.  they raced each other to get the bait.

Chauncy, What you need is a few young ones around ya. That will take care of the extra equipment, and you will wonder why you ever concidered fishing relaxing. I used to take my boy and his friends, one "let" my spud bar down the hole, and I was finally able to justfy owning more rods than a man could ever use himself. My son and I still fish often and now I have three grandsons that want to go. I know that those will not be relaxing days but I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I bought a 2 man shanty last year for me and my older grandson. He said he didn't want to go icefishing so i sold the shanty. Trying to sell my Electra 2000 strikemaster auger now. Aqua vu will probably go after that.

My son and I ice fish every chance we get. However I have to much gear and should get rid of some. That includes Hunting and fishing gear. I just don't know where to start!
