I heard the east side lake flipped blew in all the cold water and killed them off and shut down the fishing on the east side(Northeast area)

fishing was bad this weekend on the east at lest for me. i got 2 small eyes that had to be tossed back. i was also check my the fish comm 2 times! they borded me in abou 125ft.  then later on that day they saw me again in about 30ft an did the same thing.  i passed each times but i asked them about the smelt an they told me that it was due to the change in the cold fronts/ storms. they has also said it happens ever year, some parts of the lake get it worse then others. i gotta tell ya though some of them look as if they were on the top of the water for weeks. u would touch them an they would turn to mush.  next week should be better. we should start seeing some number at the nut soon hopefully
