Beaverkill/Willowemoc 4/29

Fished the Willowemoc and Beaverkill near Roscoe NY sunday/monday and fishing was outstanding.  Water is clear and down to normal flow, and the trout are hungry.
I found the famous pools to be less productive...too much pressure I'd imagine. But many spots we were the only guys there, and we probably C&Red about 30 browns, most on overcast sunday. The best one was  20" and about 3½ lbs.  It hit my go-to trout lure (Gold f-11 Rapala), then I promptly lost the thing about 5 minutes later. I gotta start carrying a bunch of them. Highly recommended to check these places out. All my pics are too large of a file to post, dangit.

If you load you pics to photobucket you could post them, The other way is to download a resizeing program and compress them. The photobucket way is the easiest though.

yank, just got back ,we did very good but were mostly on the small side (threw alot back kept about half dozen over weekend. Seems this yrs stockies are as less the 2 yr old stock of previous years..anyway they sure get fished out in no time as we did see enough fishermen  during the weekdays both water. We had good luck last few weeks on the reses but nothing over 5lbs. alot of small and most still close to shore.  remember to abide by city permit rules etc. happy fishing!
