Lock Haven area

sayers is just down the road, w/ cats, bass ,perch, etc. we fish there a lot. walleye are in the river below lock haven, never caught them any higher except in curwensville.

Wow, that's interesting, explains why info. on that area is so hard to find on the web. What was the cause? Pollution?

Bush dam.....if you are after some bass.  Even lower Kettle will hold some smallmouth when the water warms up in the summer.

Thanks for the info. guys, now I just have to decide if I want to be an extra hour away from Erie or not.

     Many years ago A friend and I drifted the river from below Grassflat down (took all day)  Where there are small streams coming into the river there are some fish, and the small streams do hold some fish.  But there are some small streams that are still bright orange and we couldn't even find evidence of bugs in the creeks, not even crayfish.   But it is a totally beautiful drift for the young and strong.  (which I am not anymore)   Almost pristine in some spots, if you don't look at the river.  A good rule of thumb is: if the waters' green it's good, orange is bad!
