Anyone ever catch a mess in the mountains and fry them up?
My favorites s them 4-5 inchers. No need to filley em. Can fry em in butter and eat em whole with the guts out. Leave them in the stream for the ones I cant get.
A mess in the fall with eggs in is delish too. Yummy in my tummy.
Till then I eat the small ones, and snag onto whatever comes my way.
Like to squeeze suckers for an egg fry this time of year. Theres so many fish I can eat fried eggs for a month or so. Anyone ever can them eggs? Woneder if yu can? Can grind them suckers up into paste and can em.
I like to snag about 50 and grind em. into the old garden, Only thing is the skunks like em and the dog gets it. Got me tomater juce for that old trick.
