Touche.

...like they always say a lure catches the angler long before it catches the fish...

I already mentioned this once above...fact that other methods or lures catch fish doesnt dispute the quality of the product...

Kind of reminds me of when people fall for the hype of red "bleeding" hooks.
They'll spend more money on a 30' deep diving crank bait with red hooks, eventhough red is the first color to disappear in the water column...

Go figure!

Mike i saw last week on in-fishermen that the red does not disappear in clear water...it is only disappearing in muddy or cloudy water.....

Some of my best colors for erie walleyes include red with them.

I would consider most lakes around are cloudy, but you know what I'm saying.

You'll find that if you just group your colors into 3 basic groups you'll eliminate a lot of tackle needs.
Ex. Darks, mediums, brights. Red would fall into mediums just like gray and probably won't produce any more strikes. But what do I know?

Here's another thing...

Take the blade with the black dots for example. (Very nice looking I might add)

Does it really matter that there are black dots on a blade that spins?
My opinion about color are just my opinions, but they do look very nice and like you stated, very good quality.
Well done!

In a recent In-Fisherman article they also stated that bass don't relate the red gills or hooks to wonded prey. They did some testing with a bunch of guys in lab coats so they must be right...lol

IMO Mike, I'm like you, all those fancy colors catch the fishermen more than they actually catch the fish.  I like to stick with the general light and dark patterns in the right conditions.  I also use contrasting color patterns from time to time as well.  I think action and vibration play a larger part in fish attraction anyway.  Just my opinion, but I too always seem to "bite" on those hot new color patterns that come out from time to time!
