Well made two trips to this lake/river  fished a total of 15 hours with no luck on walleye and crappies.  Drift fished yesterday all day great chop got 3 bass biggest was 14 and many small perch. attempted to locate the crappies and could not find any.  I thought this lake was a great place to fish i will not be returning nor will i be fishing the crappie tournament deadsea...

The lake had a great smallmouth fishery but a few guys, in their own selfish interest, hyped the heck out of it.  The crowds came and there went the fish.  They stock walleyes yearly but I have yet to see a positive manifestation of that effort.  Sure, some big walleyes get caught every year but that could happen without the stocking effort.
