Christmas day:NFL
I was hesitant to start another thread but as usual I am curious. I don't like the idea of games played on Christmas. I don't think it's fair to the players, or the fans. Christmas is a time of year when it's the only day that some families get to spend the day together. Mine being one of them. Some of us enjoy following along and watching our favorite team play, others couldn't care less. I also think the normal pattern of playing games is disrupted. My favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers, my second favorite team is the Kansas City Chiefs. They will play each other Christmas day. The Steelers and the Chiefs have to play 3 games in 10 days, with only 4 days between two of the final 3. A schedule like that is demanding on players and coaches but especially so at this time of the year when teams are trying to lock uo their chances to play in the post season. Lets just enjoy Christmas with family and friends, if we are fortunate to have any, without the distraction of football games.
How did the person who invented the first clock know what time it was?
