3 eggs in a pink or white sac. 6 or 7 trout eggs in a pink or white sac.
diaichi or teimco size #14-#10 depending on sac size. in turbid water
5 eggs in a chartruese or pink. scarf material gives more dense color
to the sacs. scarf is used more in new york than pa.

I agree with hiv on the color white.Ive had a lot of luck with blue.If your using fresh eggs and tying them yourself i have had very good luck with extra large eggsacks.Ive always did the 6 or 7 egg deal until this year. Now i do large eggs most of the time unless im fishing very slow water.White seems almost clear when tied and its been more productive than blue for me this year.Dont use orange. No luck at all with orange.

All depends, i Tye all my own eggs, I used king eggs, Brownie eggs. I like pink the most has produced fish for me. Then their are days i can't get them too look at a sac. When i tie them i like too use 4 king eggs per sac, brownie eggs it's 7 or 8 per sac. I have had good luck with white and chrt but pink be my favorite. I just got into actually dying eggs different colors, haven't tried it yet but have been getting info so this year i am going to be trying alot of different colors.  As` far as hooks`go i like using the 1150 style egg hooks in size 10"s if the water is off color and high, and greenish flow i like to use 12"s. I have very good luck with theses styles of hooks. Don't over look skein in a sac either, has also been very productive.

WD-40 is a favorite scent for my egg-sacs. One shot in a container with say
two dozen sacs does the trick. It also lays out a nice milky trail in the water.
Try adding a few grains of SEA SALT to your container.

Yes jello is part of it but their are more than just a box of jello that goes into. The cure etc when i have more time i share. But it has taken me a long time to find a cure, for what it takes to dye eggs. Eggs are orangish to begin with add a box of blue jello and you get a nice chrt color, then some chrt netting sweet looking eggs that glo, but like i said their are alot more to it. Any questions i be more than happy to help. I know of a friend of mine that makes his tye dye eggs and do they slam steelies.
