Lure Refurbishing

I am interested in taking some old plugs and crankbaits and refurbishing them. Of course I will be putting new hooks and O-rings on them, but I see a few other small rusty screws and such on them. How do you guys recommend I go about this. Try to match up the same size hooks, buy some new ones and use say WD-40 on the other parts? Thanks for the info in advance!

Make sure they are not collector items first.
A lot of older lures are worth a bunch,
On the rear hook use a trebble with a stinger hook
