Fishpond Glacier Modular Vest Pack

Since I'm trying to reach 1000 before TT, figured I better start posting stuff.

Anyone ever try or have an opinion on this product?

I just thought it was a nice pack for those long hikes out to the stop sign hole.

I think I'm gonna get it. I like hitting the stream all day and it looks like it would pack plenty of gear, and I was gonna fill the bladder with Jack and coke

Actually you could attach the mouthpiece to you know where and fill the bladder for those times when you just can't leave that "honey hole".

You've got no chance, tippy.  That is until the kids get out of school.  That's when I don't get to get on the puter but once a week.

As for the pack, pay attention to the connection between the two front pouches.  I purchased one that utilizes a zipper.  I'm not happy with it, as the weight of the full pockets pulling against each other un-zips the **** thing.  I'm able to keep it together using a carabiner(sp?) which I put on to be able to attach other things, not thinking it would be the only thing holding things together.  A slip-in-snap-buckle type connection would have been Sooooooo much better.  Other than that, I'm glad I went with the split-front pack.  I put less-used equipment in the back pouch, and the whole thing balances out much better than any vest I've ever owned.

I sometimes use this pack made by William Joseph.  It's the Coastal model.
    I like it alot.

Carry fewer things and a smaller chest pack will work. You can spin it around so it will not be in your way of casting.

The big bellowing pockets, is one reason women get reduction surgery. They do it to reduce lower back pain.

Yea, thats kinda why I like the glaciar mountain.... I think putting some gear in the back pack might even the load a little bit. Well, I'll give it a shot and let you know the results of the field testing

    Tippee,

What are you doing? Why do you need a new chest pak? If I recall you owe TB around $150. Why buy something before you pay off your buddies. If I was TB I'd be ****ed. Weren't you the one bust scudbugs chops about not paying up after his winnings.... Atleast scudbug didn't pay because he new he wasn't going to the BH. That's just wrong.....

The only problem I ever had with the Coastal vest is I carry too much stuff in the front "bra"
and it gets in the way when landing a fish.  I also have a Fishpond vest that has the pack
centered on your stomach, instead of splitting it in half like the Coastal.  You might want to
    check out that chest pack.

As collections manager of the bighole trip it is my duty to track down unpaid BH expenses. You should tell TB that you are filing for bankruptcy and you don't owe him anything. Anyway I understand that you are trying to be innovative and break away from the mold of TB equipment. Heavy Metal asked me if TB bought that and thats why you were getting it.....

If you want to manage the Big Hole collections, you can focus in the Western Counties.
