Looking for pontoon boat

Looking for 16 to 20 foot pontoon boat with or without 10 to 20 horsepower motor. Prefer one inexpensive needing a little work.

Rippinlip... is there any area in particular or travel distance restrictions?  In other words if I found one in 'middle of nowhere, Indiana county' would that be ok or are you wanting to stay more local to where ever you are?

I was over near Pymie a few weeks ago fishing with my son, I seem to remember seeing a place selling older used pontoons, they looked like old "rental" boats.
Don't ask me where, he was driving and I don't know the roads over there!
I know we left the causeway and drove a out 20 minutes to a bait shop at a lady's house...it was somewhere between those places!
I will ask him where it was, he commented about " cheap boats" as we drove past.

Edit,
He texted back saying it was in Linesville but didn't know the name  of the place.

I would like to suggest contacting the marinas at any lake. Marinas where they rent pontoons often sell their used boats and/or know where a guy can locate one.

Also, I believe West Bay Marine just outside of Jamestown PA.
advertises he buys used boats.

Might be worth the phone call.

They are where the pizza shop was on Rt6 heading out of linesville toward Wilson boat launch. I believe they are old rental pontoons from the linesville marina. If I get over that way this weekend I'll try to stop and take a picture

Have you checked the pennswoods.net classifieds (rennug)?  There is a 20' project boat on there for $3k.  Looks like a good bit of work, but might be what you are looking for.

Kid texted me that their number is 814-683-4943.
He didn't give their name.

Yes. My neighbor passed away in January. I'm buying his off the estate as soon as the mountain of paperwork is done this spring. The thing that sucks is I'll probably lose the slot he had at the marina at Moraine. We waited a few years in line for that.

Congrats. That stinks about the slip. Their dry docking usually has openings. Not as convenient as the slip, but keeps you close. Talk to the Moraine park office, since marina is closed. They might keep it in place. Might go by the boat and not the person? Probably not, but worth a try.
