teenagers

I just read a article in the Erie newspaper that stated that the oldest boy that was accused of torturing a deer & posting it on you -tube was convicted a few days ago & was sentenced to 2 yrs. probation & 200 hrs of community service & loss of a hunting license for 15 yrs.,I think. I heard at the beginning of this event that the deer managed to get away because they ran out of shells. Even in the news coverage the have never said whether or not this is true. Does anyone have any true knowledge of this case.?   sam

Yes he plead guilty. Not sure about what happened to the animal. When I heard that, I thought 15 years suspension was excessive.

scary part is that research has show that when youths mistreat animals that they are more likely to be abusers as they age.The worst part is that it looked like they were enjoying them selves on the videos. There is no doubt in my mind that we will be seeing their names in the future & not in a good way. As far as him obeying that hunting restriction I doubt it.  sam

I just read in an earlier news article that they did kill the deer & showed it on you -tube. I reached out 3 times to different regional PGC offices with no response yet. Also tried the editor of Penna. Outdoor News with no reply there either.  sam
