    I’d recommend something with a lifetime warranty even if I costs more, I had a bushnell and left it out in the rain on accident and I liked the bushnell so I bought another more top of the line bushnell and I liked it a lot too but I went to change the battery and the screen froze when I turned it on and contacted bushnell and sent it to them to be looked at and the best they could do was give me a slight discount on a new rangefinder. I was pretty mad about that because it was not my fault so I ended up buying a vortex ranger 1300 on sale and couldn’t be more happy and it has lifetime warranty if anything would ever happen

    I have a Bushnell arc 1000 it's like 15 years old it's great but my next one will be a vortex I'm switching all optics to vortex can't beat there warranty

    I did some research on the vortex. Sounds like a little awesome piece of machinery. I have a cheapy bushnell and range landmarks around my stand as soon as I get up in the tree. I dont want to be fumbling around for the finder when brutus comes strolling in. Also in low light you cant see the display.

    Yea my display is black so in low light I have to look into the sky to see the yardage, on my Montana hunt we all had different brands and had to keep them inside coat pocket with hot hands to keep them warm it was so cold in crunch time mine still wouldn't work half the time the vortex did food for thought. All my scopes are vortex iv tryed all top brands they got my money I seen a post last year guys dog chewed his binos up we sent them in he got new ones for free and they sent him dog toys! I thought that was very thoughtful

    From my point of view, my top pick was the right combination of ability and price. But its truth that, if you provide more, you will get more. Vortex and Tec Tec Tec is better from my view.
