twin lakes

Trout have been hitting very well for the friends of mine at both lakes. Beautiful Brooks & rainbows.    sam

    As usual Sam..I never had a touch..Have not caught a trout for about 3 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    They wanted something small and moving for me the other day. Caught several in short order and missed lots more once I found what they wanted. All on soft hackle flies. Didn't see anybody bottom fishing catch a thing.

    fishinguy, a couple of my buds were doing well throwing iron ,but were going crazy with all of the short hits.Funny thing is that these were mostly Brooks which aren't usually shy like the browns .   sam

    Sounds about the same as I was seeing. Missed a lot fewer when I went much smaller.
