Capt. I think some of your questions can be answered in PSU's comment on the page before yours.

12 to 14 anglers times X pontoons times legal limit (+/-) of xxx fish equals a bunch of fish for fund raising fish frys where you can have a fish dinner and help support the Amish. Priceless 👍

The funner part, guessing which kind of fish you're eating. [giggle]

We caught some very nice slab crappies. Had to deal with a bunch of dink perch stealing minnows.

+1 unfortunately my timing seems to be off this year. Oh well, get 'em next time. Was out Saturday with few results again. Lots of folks out enjoying the afternoon. Reminded me of why I prefer weekday fishing

Seen some real nice photos of Mosquito Walleyes about three weeks ago...guy was shopping at Gander showed me his phone pics ...had one at 10lbs..... said he was killing em .....pics sure proved it !  Never fished it ...have an Ohio license but use it up on Erie only.

Feels like winter tonight with that wind ......I won't fish cold fronts .

Looks like no team limited out in that tourney by those weights, or the fish were running small.
I see the Amish were in full force .
Are those fish released in that tourney like others ?

the lake association tourney has a 3 fish weigh in maximum.  fish are utilized or released, up to the angler.

Looks like some good weights for a three fish limit. Somebody knows how to catch them there. Those Amish guys can catch some eyes. Me thinks some guys are jealous, yaaa.

Sounds like somethings been hitting your worm at least 😂😂😂. Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously though, good luck out there. Sounds like you'll have some good fishing partners soon.

How crowded might the lake be on Memorial Day? Weather seems to show that'll be the only day fishable. I'd be on the north end and I have never been there on a holiday.

Pymy is a big lake so "crowded" may not be an issue unless of course you'll be using the locations of the "man made" fish attractors".

Those areas can be located with your smart phone if ya know where to find the list of coordinates.

Unfortunately, due to my "spotburning" ethics I am not at liberty to provide those addresses for you. Besides, I don't know where they are myself. But I'm sure I can lay claim to a few Walleye lures, hanging on the stupid things!!!

Anyways, I wouldn't be so much concerned with crowed as I would be with the "doorknobs" buzzing by within "sign language" distance from your boat. ummm, provided you are fishing from a boat otherwise, expect your waders filled by waves created from the "doorknobs" buzzing by in their stupid boats.

Long story short, get out there and get fishing and maybe a little catching too.

Good times and tight lines.

FYI Keep an eye to the sky, weather dude says possible thunderstorms this weekend and "Pymy can and will get ugly".

Heyyyyy, wanna have some fun and make some new friends? When other boats are nearby (+/- a couple hundred yards) each time you reel in, always pretend you're fighting a fish. But oops.... ya just happen to lose it at the boat. You'll be Makin new friends in no time.

Gotta git, time for meds.

Catch a bunch, good times and tight lines.

Get there early. We fished Friday and when we left there were trailers parked over by the swimming area. I'm sure there had to be a considerable wait to launch at one point. We left at 5:00 and had to wait about 15 minutes to trailer.

I enjoy Pymy and do quite well there, but the way Erie is fishing already, it's kind of hard to think of fishing anywhere else for eyes right now.

OK Captain, here you go....
Fished from Orchard launch Tuesday both sides of the lake and both sides of the causeway. Caught maybe 6 small perch and a 12" crappie from first light till about 9:30 when it got too windy/choppy. It was cold enough I could see my breath. Pulled out and put back in down at Jamestown to get out of the SW wind. Fished both sides of the lake till about 12:30. A few small perch. I was trolling hot-n-tots the whole time and searching for marks on the fish finder that would indicate keepers eyes. Did not catch or mark any walleyes. I think aliens have "beamed them all up".

I have a camp there and some guys are doing ok some not so much. Most success has come from the northern end and believe me the Dutchman are getting limits!!!!!! The days of just drifting aimlessly are over for most part but if you know were and mother nature cooperate it still fishes well.

If all you’re fishing for is walleye, you’d be better off going to the big lake. They’re in pretty close right now. Caught them as shallow as 35 ft water, around 25 ft down. But I fished Pymatuning last Wednesday with my brother and put a limit of 12” crappies and 35 bluegills in the box and we were done by noon. The crappies were still shallow and the gills were starting to sit on their beds. Jigs and waxworm for the gills and baby shads for the crappies. South end of the lake. Got my walleyes out of the Conneaut, Ohio area Saturday morning. Good trip with Carpetbagger charters out of Pittsburgh area.
