michigan ice fishing

doesn anyone here know of any good lakes to ice fish in souther michigan?  my dad wants me to come out this weekend and ice fish but i have never gone out there for that.  he has never ice fished at all so he doesnt know any spots to go.  im looking for somewhere within an hour of south bend.
