death at the "big Q"

Divers found the body of another fisherman, this time,at the Quemahoning res. in somerset cnty, in 70' of water.. They had been looking for a couple of days after he dove in trying to get his hat. What a shame, sorry for his family & friends. This summer has gotten off to a horrible start as far as water deaths in Pa.  sam

He was out with 2 girls, more than likely showing off. Believe he was 17-18 also?

Definitely one of the lakes you shouldn't be a dumazz on.

He lost his sunglasses and his hat and bent over to retrieve them and fell in from one report I heard.  They said he was swimming around for 4 or 5 minutes before he went under.  Where was his life vest?   Just what I initially heard and can not confirm this.   I am sure the investigation will clear this up.

10-4 on the new regulations.  This should not be classified as a boating fatality.

Tragic event either way.  Sympathies to the family.

The only thing better than 1 day of fishing is 2 days of fishing.
