Erie Tributaries

Heading to Erie this weekend with my sons and was wondering if anyone could share some favorite spots on tributaries and what baits are working this time of year

    Not sure if they are still there, but Elk was full of smallmouths 4 weeks ago.  Just about every deeper hole.  If I were to pick one spot, I'd say the trestle or Legion

    Check the Erie Times fishing report on Friday morning.  They usually give pretty up to date info on fishing all around Erie, including the tribs even in the spring and summer.

    I week ago I saw some in walnut just had no gear to fish for them.

    Fish in the Bay. The criks are all but dried up.

    Elk and Walnut probably have a few Smallies left. The closer you are to the lake the more success you’ll find, this time of year.

    rent a kayak and go fish the lagoon.  lots of weeds holding bass.  Frogs work great on the weeds, senko worms on the edges.
