Was up Sunday and Monday - slush for the first three hours then great flow and color after it burned off.  Fish are there . I fished middle and upper Elk and caught fish in both places but had to work for them. Mix bag of steelhead - jacks, dropbacks and even a few fresh ones.  None of the areas seemed loaded with fish, but each provided enough action to keep me satisfied.   Expect to get some suckers if fishing low and smolts if fishing up in the higher end of the creek.

Yeah there’s fish around wherever you are gonna go if you know what you’re doing. And sometimes even if you don’t!

"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."

slim chance I might go up. Its getting to be the time of year where musky fishing starts to come into the game for me.

I do however want to get up there for the smallmouth action this year on the yak.
