Thanks, been reading for years on and off. 
 
I think PA caters to the wrong type of angler. Deep down there's a dedicated core who will fish no matter what. Instead of worrying about them, the PFBC worries about the fringe consumer who fishes once or twice a year. That is the wrong approach in my opinion. 70 dollars for a year of fishing is still an incredible steal. You weed on the part timers with that price and all of a sudden have surplus funds to work on habitat projects for the natural reproduction streams that don't have the biomass to warrant the Class A status. If it means you miss out on licenses from those fringe folks, so be it.

As long as i don't need a stamp if i don't keep trout, u can make it as expensive as u want.
