All joking aside, if you guys hook a bunch, move on. These fish are the future. I know personally, if I’m catching lots of smolts I move to a upper hole. We want good runs like this years

Fished the past 2 days and didn't catch any. However... The suckers are up stream already.

With 12 inches of snow moving in, not much fishing will happen

Every week more will be stocked until there will be more smolts that trophies in the creeks. It is just the beginning last week.

I fished mid elk, and saw 6 caught. So they're deff moving up streams. Still a mixed bag. Out of the bunch of steelhead, I got 1 sucker. Saw no smolts caught.

    There's a sucker born everyday.

Thank you for the report. I definitely won’t complain if I happen to find of a bunch of hungry chromers, too.

The enormous walleye population is gonna take a huge toll on those smolts, those eyes are runnin outta fish to eat..this spring fishing the shoreline at night is gonna be fantastic. And I'm usually always a smart azz anyway but, if you are really that worried about the young ones, shouldn't ya just quit fishin the streams right now? Nahh, nevermind, that won't work, you would rather preach to the masses. "do as I say, not as I do"
