venison

For those of you that didn't fill your freezer yet with venison: Arbys is testing Venison sandwiches starting in Pa. this coming Mon. I believe. They are also selling Elk in other areas.  sam

No venison yet,but a friend is cleaning out his freezer from last year and gave me about 25 lbs of assorted Moose meat, sirloin steaks, burger, breakfast sausage, and hot sticks with cheese added. He leaving next week for his annual moose hunt. He said he'd give me another bag full before he goes. Moose is wonderful eating. I cooked a pile of sirloin steaks today, everybody that ate it loved it.

BTDT, hey I share. I gave burger, hot stick with cheese to two buddies last week and I buddy came to my business today and enjoyed some marinated sirloin steaks. That moose is really good eats, tender and non game tasting. I pan seared them, and smothered them in candy onions and baby red potatoes on the side. My son, buddy and myself enjoyed the feast.

Any one planning to go to Arbys for the Venison sandwhiches may be disappointed because they only have a limited supply in each location. According to what I have read they sell out immediately. It will be interesting.  sam
