well weather ended up being pretty nice today , little windy at times.... made for some good drifting though. Brought 12 Crappie home we caught about 25 ... one 14" , couple 12" rest around 9-10" ... other ones didn't make the grade and some didn't make it to the boat ππ... fished from 2:00 to 6:30 ... so not bad , wife likes Crappie fishing so ya know I have to keep her happy πππΊ

Lol .... ok I did catch it ... nooo really I did but the wife had to tell me to grab my pole because it was going off the back of the boat and I was messing with my phone ππ... I did thank her though ... πππΊπ

On a sad note, I lost another fishing buddy this past week. We fished that area many times back in the good old days. I think we may have even caught a few fish back then. See ya on the otherside Bill. Till then tight lines.

Ok hit Wilhelm this afternoon until dark was going to try some trolling but the crappies were hungry ... no giant slabs this time but not to bad ... brought 16 home and a perch threw probably a dozen back now cleaning time in the AM .....

I assume caught drifting down near the dam? Seems most of the reports are coming from that end

yep stayed on road side around 12-14' started there , finished across from launch 2 ... near the point drifting from 10-15' until dark ... was a few boats with me down by dam though π

I fished Wilhelm yesterday. Fishing pressure was light. I trolled most of the morning without any luck. I switched to minnows and ran through 2 dozen in about an hour. Lots of small crappie and one catfish. Baitfish were everywhere.
